Overview
Welcome to the home page for Trinity Cares Ministry. Trinity Cares is our ministry designed to follow God's commandments to take care of the widows, widowers, and elderly in our community. We are currently active in helping to meet the needs of those elderly in our church and community. We could use your help doing it! If you are the kind of person who likes to dig into a church and volunteer your talents, then Trinity is the place for you!
Weekly Activities
SUNDAY
MONDAY
On the Sundays when our church takes communion, we also want to provide members who are no longer able to attend church regularly the opportunity to also take the Lord's Supper.
We spend these Sunday afternoons driving to member's home, visiting with them, praying with them, and taking communion with them.
On the second Monday of every month at 6:00PM our church members make a visit to The Meadows of Orange Nursing Home.
We sing hymns for the residents, visit with them, teach a Bible study, and also provide small gift bags with daily needed items, such as toothbrushes, combs, deodorant, etc.
You can support the Trinity Cares Ministry in two ways. First, you could volunteer your time and talent during our monthly visits.
Second, you could donate everyday items for our gift bags.
Other Ways to Volunteer
You could also help the Trinity Cares Ministry by adopting a church member who is no longer able to attend church regularly. These members need someone who will check in on them regularly, provide occasional meals for them, and help keep them connected to our church community.
At certain events during the year (Hobo Dinner, Thanksgiving Dinner, Valentine's Banquet, etc.) members will also write cards, bake some cookies, and volunteer to drop them by a church member's home who is no longer able to attend church regularly.
